SteelLink: Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: February 16th, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SteelLink website, community, job board, events, benchmarking tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you are a paid member, your Membership Agreement governs billing, renewal, and membership rights and will control in the event of conflict with these Terms. 

1. Platform Purpose

SteelLink is a professional industry network serving companies and professionals in the steel construction ecosystem.

The Platform is designed to support:

  • Professional Networking

  • Industry Collaboration

  • Knowledge Exchange

  • Hiring Visibility

  • Benchmarking Insights

The Platform is not intended for consumer use.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old.

  • Are using the Platform for legitimate professional purposes.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

SteelLink may suspend or deny access at its discretion.

3. Accounts & Organizational Access

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information.

  • Maintain account confidentiality.

  • Not share login credentials.

  • Use access only within their organization.

Organizations are responsible for all activity conducted under their accounts.

SteelLink may restrict or deactivate accounts suspected of misuse.

4. Acceptable Use & Industry Conduct

SteelLink is a professional industry environment and not a venue for coordination of competitive behavior.

Users shall not:

  • Coordinate pricing, bids, margins, or market allocation.

  • Exchange competitively sensitive information.

  • Engage in anti-competitive or collusive behavior.

  • Post confidential third-party information without authorization.

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others.

  • Impersonate another organization or user.

  • Scrape, harvest, export, or replicate Platform data.

  • Use the Platform to build or support a competing network or service
    misuse member lists, analytics, or insights.

SteelLink may remove content, restrict functionality, or suspend access at any time.

5. Recruitment & Member Protection

The Platform is designed for professional visibility, not aggressive talent solicitation.

Users may not:

  • Target employees of other members through deceptive outreach.

  • Use the Platform for coordinated poaching efforts.

  • Harvest candidate or member data for undisclosed recruiting activity.

SteelLink may restrict or remove users who misuse the Platform for predatory recruiting.

6. Job Board Terms

SteelLink provides job listings as a community resource.

SteelLink is not:

  • An employer

  • Recruiter

  • Staffing agency

  • Hiring intermediary

SteelLink does not guarantee:

  • Job accuracy

  • Candidate qualifications

  • Hiring outcomes

Users may not:

  • post misleading or unauthorized jobs

  • collect candidate data for unrelated purposes

  • solicit applicants for undisclosed third parties

  • create listings intended to collect market intelligence

SteelLink may remove listings or suspend access.

7. Member Content

Users retain ownership of content submitted to the Platform.

By posting, users grant SteelLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Host

  • Display

  • Distribute

  • Analyze

  • Promote the Platform

  • Improve community experience

SteelLink may remove or restrict content that violates policy.

8. Benchmarking, Analytics & Industry Insights

SteelLink may collect, aggregate, and analyze data from:

  • Usage patterns

  • Surveys

  • Discussions

  • Participation

  • Member inputs

This data may be used to produce:

  • Anonymized industry benchmarks

  • Trend reporting

  • Insights

No individual company will be identified without consent.

SteelLink retains all rights to aggregated and anonymized data outputs.

9. Events, Webinars & Recordings

SteelLink may host:

  • Webinars

  • Roundtables

  • Live events

  • Training Sessions

These may be recorded and used for:

  • Member access

  • Education

  • Marketing

  • Platform Improvement

Participation constitutes consent to recording unless otherwise stated.

10. Intellectual Property

SteelLink owns all rights to:

  • Platform architecture.

  • Community structure.

  • Benchmarks and analytics.

  • Templates, reports, and tools.

  • Branding and trademarks.

Users may not reproduce, replicate, or reverse engineer Platform elements.

11. Third-Party Infrastructure

SteelLink operates using infrastructure provided by Mighty Networks and other service providers.

Use of the Platform may also be subject to:

  • Mighty Networks Terms

  • Mighty Networks Privacy Policy

SteelLink is not responsible for outages, interruptions, or data issues caused by third parties.

12. Communications

By using the Platform, users consent to receive:

  • Operational updates

  • Membership communications

  • Event notifications

  • Service announcements

Users may opt out of marketing communications.

13. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

SteelLink does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted Access

  • Business Results

  • Hiring Outcomes

  • Accuracy of User Content

  • Networking Success

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteelLink is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Lost revenue or profits

  • Hiring outcomes

  • Employment disputes

  • Member interactions

For paying members, liability is limited as outlined in the applicable Membership Agreement. 

15. Termination

SteelLink may suspend or terminate access for:

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Harmful or illegal conduct

  • Misuse of the Platform

  • Non-payment (members)

16. Modifications

SteelLink may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of changes.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
